  冷却水温度太低--磨损发动机

  天气炎热的时候,有的司机为了防止发动机温度过高,一味要求冷却水温度尽可能的低;有的司机为了达到降温的目的,干脆把节温器拆去,这些做法都是不对的。

  汽车发动机既怕热又怕冷,如果冷却水温度过低,会使燃油燃烧恶化,油耗增加,加剧磨损,机油黏度增加,发动机功率降低。试验表明,汽车行驶时冷却水温度为40-50摄氏度时,发动机磨损增加60%-80%,功率降低25%,油耗增多8%-10%。因此,发动机冷却水的温度并非越低越好,一般应控制在80-90摄氏度之间。
