　　冷却水温度太低--磨损发动机

　　天气炎热的时候，有的司机为了防止发动机温度过高，一味要求冷却水温度尽可能的低；有的司机为了达到降温的目的，干脆把节温器拆去，这些做法都是不对的。

　　汽车发动机既怕热又怕冷，如果冷却水温度过低，会使燃油燃烧恶化，油耗增加，加剧磨损，机油黏度增加，发动机功率降低。试验表明，汽车行驶时冷却水温度为40-50摄氏度时，发动机磨损增加60%-80%，功率降低25%，油耗增多8%-10%。因此，发动机冷却水的温度并非越低越好，一般应控制在80-90摄氏度之间。
